Planning for Cougar Mountain Middle School (CMMS) has been underway for quite a while with the contractor, architect and capital projects department. On April 23, 2021, Principal Erin McKee shared that the CMMS building construction is delayed. Families and community members are encouraged to read more about this in the Enews message that was sent on 4/23/2021. The staff and students will begin the 2021-22 school year at a temporary campus called Ringdall Jr. HS located at 11650 SE 60th St., Bellevue, WA 98006. Further details will be shared via CMMS Enews.
On a day eagerly anticipated by students, staff and families alike, the beautiful new Cougar Mountain Middle School opened on March 1, 2022. For the first time, the student body of about 640 Falcons arrived at the campus in the Talus neighborhood.
