It is that time of year to request courses for the school year 2026-2027. The Course Request Process (CRP) window will open on March 4, 7:00 am and will close on March 19, 4:00 pm. There are two steps to complete this process.

Gibson Ek, Issaquah School District’s choice high school open to all current 8th grade students living in the district, is now accepting applications for the Class of 2030. Apply by March 13.

Our district has been named one of 25 school districts in Washington to receive the State Superintendent’s Award for Educational Excellence in Student Achievement. The award recognizes the top-performing school districts for educational achievement in the previous school year and reflects strong student outcomes across multiple measures, including graduation rates, academic growth and access to advanced coursework.

The Special Services team will host several events for families and caregivers in March. The ARC of King County, March 9; Financial Strategies and Estate Planning, March 16; Parent and Caregiver IEP Training, March 19; and SEPAC (Special Education Advisory Council), March 23. Details enclosed.

In recent years, our Food Service team has sent automated email messages to families with low balances or negative balances in their student’s meal accounts. We recently discovered an unexpected interruption in our automated low and negative meal account balance e-mails, which have not been delivering to families in recent months. The problem has been corrected and our messages have resumed.
