CMMS
It’s the start of the school year and we have welcomed many new students and families to CMMS! We want to ensure all CMMS families are familiar with the extensive resources that ISD makes available to support positive digital experiences. We want to ensure you have helpful tools and resources to support positive and safer social media and technology use for all of our students at both school and home.
We can’t wait to welcome our parents and caregivers to our Curriculum Night in our building on Thursday 9/12 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. We do not have parking available at our campus for this event. Parking is available at Issaquah Valley Elementary School at 555 NW Holly St or the Holly Street Early Learning Center at 565 NW Holly St.. Shuttles will begin to travel to the CMMS campus with parents and caregivers starting at 5:00 p.m.
Here are some important dates for the beginning of the upcoming school year! We look forward to seeing all the Falcons soon!
The first day of practice for Co-Ed Cross Country and Boys Soccer is Monday, September 9th. The first day for Girls Volleyball is Tuesday, September 10th.There will be an Activity Bus for students to take starting Monday. Please review the routes and stops with your student prior to the first day of an activity as the Activity Buses make limited stops and are not the regular bus routes.

District
We're excited to kick off the school year on a strong note! As we welcome students back, we've also been hard at work planning for the future of Issaquah School District. We're running a School Modernization and Construction Bond in the November 5, 2024, election. This bond will fund projects across the district. Learn more about what the bond would mean for your school on our bond website.
Families are invited to our virtual Canvas Information night (Zoom) 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 18. This event is designed to help families learn how to use Canvas, the learning platform used by students in grades 6-12. Details enclosed about how to register.
Superintendent Heather Tow-Yick welcomes you to new school year and highlights the proposed School Construction & Modernization Bond measure that will be on the Nov. 5 ballot; and, she shares the August community update video.
Families can now access their student's bus route information online. Our Transportation team asks families to be patient and expect possible adjustments in the first few weeks of school as they work to refine bus routes and make them as safe and efficient as possible.
Looking to stay informed about what's happening at your student's school or at the district level? We offer several official means of communications to our families and community including school bulletins, the district weekly bulletin, "411," emergency notifications, websites and social media. Details enclosed.
