Cougar Mountain MS Policy for Dropping Off Items for Students

Did your student forget their lunch? Homework? Laptop? Gym clothes?

We will not call a student from class for any forgotten items and teachers don't generally check their email while teaching. Please let your student know that if they have forgotten an item at home they should check the Drop-Off table in the main office during the day to see if it has been dropped off. This reduces classroom disruptions. An exception will be made for laptops, since they're essential for each class -- office staff will either deliver the laptop or call your student out of class to pick up.

The Drop-Off Table is located by the main office. We will provide post-it notes to label items.

Please review this procedure with your student so they are aware and understand the Drop-Off process. Thanks for your help with this. 

Parents and students are discouraged from bringing any birthday gifts, party foods, flowers, treats, etc. to CMMS as this creates additional disruptions to regular school operation. Due to distractions to the learning environment, balloons are not allowed at school. Students are not permitted to have food or drinks delivered to campus using delivery services, any of these deliveries will be stored in the main office until the end of the day for students to pick up.
