Home Girls Basketball and Wrestling at CMMS 1/16 - Parking Notice

Athletics

CMMS is hosting home Girl Basketball games and Wrestling matches on campus Thursday, 1/16! Please read the follow message if you have a student athlete participating and/or you will be a spectator for this event. Student spectators must leave campus at 2.35pm and not return before 3:15pm for sports. Student spectators must be accompanied by an adult.

Critical Parking Notice: CMMS has very limited parking on campus for home and visiting spectators. However, we know we will have some parent and caregiver spectators for these competitions. It is important for us to prioritize and celebrate our student athletes. We are working hard at CMMS to overcome our parking barriers so we can offer special home sports experiences. Thank you for your cooperation, flexibility and partnership so we can make this happen.

We have created both a labeled graphic and an instructional video to assist families, caregivers and spectators:

We’d like to offer the following Traffic & Parking solutions for spectators:

  • Carpool with other family members, neighbors or friends to/from CMMS from your home, workplace, etc.
  • Help CMMS be good neighbors and please avoid parking in the Talus neighborhood.

Student Pick-Up from Meet:

  • There may be potential traffic flow challenges at athlete pick up. We ask for your patience in advance in this process.
  • We ask that drivers follow all traffic safety regulations including - driving 10 mph or less on campus, follow directions from safety officers, picking up students in designated areas, & keeping flow of traffic moving.
  • Pick up students from curbside in the designated pick-up location. Please know we do not permit students to cross the main drive to get into a car as this creates a dangerous situation.

Please plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to carpool and park. Our campus will be a very busy place during these events, and we appreciate your patience in advance. Thank you!
