Cougar Mountain's Take Flight Day is Wednesday, August 19th from 8:00am to 10:00am for incoming 6th graders and any students who will be new to Cougar Mountain Middle School. Take Flight Leaders will give tours and lead activities to help our new Falcons feel a bit more connected as they start the school year. This is not mandatory, and we understand not all new students can attend Take Flight Day. Rest assured that Take Flight Leaders and staff members will be in the hallways the first day to offer assistance to our new students. There is also a meeting for parents and guardians of new to Cougar Mountain students that day from 8:15-9:15am.
There will also be Optional Self-Guided School Walk Throughs Monday August 24th 8:30-10:30am and Tuesday August 25th from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
Curriculum Night for next year is scheduled for Thursday, September 10th. This is an opportunity for caregivers to meet your student's teachers in person. Picture Day will be Friday, September 11th.
