Spring Testing Schedule

SBA Spring Testing this year will happen on Thursday and Friday mornings May 7th, 8th, 14th, & 15th. We will have an amended schedule on these days, to allow testing between 8:40am - 10.30am, after SOAR.

8th Grade students will be taking the WCAS Science Testing on April 30th & May 1st during their Science classes. 

Any make-up testing will happen through a regular period after the initial testing days.

Please have all students come to school with their laptops fully charged on testing days and if possible, wired headphones on testing days. They should also bring their chargers with them, too. Please have your students go to bed at a reasonable hour and start the day with a healthy breakfast. We want them to be successful and ready for all testing days.

We would ask, where possible, for appointments to be made earlier in the week in May, to avoid students having to make up tests and miss teaching time, and especially that early pick-up times (before 10:35am) are avoided on Thursdays and Fridays to minimize disruption to a testing environment.

A few things to keep in mind: 

• When possible, please try to avoid checking your student out during their testing window.
• It is important for students to have a good night sleep and come to school on time and feeling rested. We want them to be successful and ready for all testing days.
• Student should start the day with a healthy breakfast. 
• Students should have a paper copy of a book to read for when they finish testing.
• Electronics such as iPads, Kindles, smartphones, Apple Watches, etc. are not allowed to be turned on during testing.
• Please make sure your student brings their school issued laptop and charger.  
• Wireless headphones are prohibited during testing.
